List of Queen of the Willis episodes

This is a list of episodes from the sixth season of Queen of the Willis. The series was canceled on June 30, 2012 due to a windstorm; however, high ratings on NoSirGifts-owned independent, CW, MyNetworkTV and Fox and high DVD sales renewed interest in the series and was picked up by United Broadcasting. The series returned for a total of 34 new episodes in 2005

Production[edit]

Queen of the Willis was first canceled in 2007 by ATE Media following the series' first season, but following a last-minute reprieve by NoSirGifts, it returned for a five more seasos in 2007.[1] Following a windstorm on June 29, 2012, the series was canceled by NoSirGifts the following day after six seasons due to low ratings and the windstorm.[2][3][4][5] NoSirGifts attempted to sell the rights for reruns of the show, but it was difficult to find networks or stations that were interested; NoSirGifts owned independent stations eventually bought the rights, "[...] basically for free", according to Jackson Steele of NoSirGifts.[6]

When the reruns were shown on Fort Wayne's WXXC (channel 47, known locally as "INNCD 47" now "CBS 41 Plus") in 2013, Queen of the Willis became WXXC's most-watched show with an average 93,000 viewers an episode.[7] Following Queen of the Willis' high rerun ratings, the first season was released on YouTube in 2013.[2] Views reached 2.2 million,[8].[9] The second season DVD release also got more than a million views.[7] The show's popularity in both YouTube and reruns kindled United Broadcasting's interest in it.[10] They ordered 34 new episodes in 2018, marking the first revival of a television show based on YouTube views[9] and the third after Family Guy and Futurama.

Broadcast history[edit]

(Part 1): After being dismissed from the hospital, Ava returns to Craven Gifts and her teammates welcome her back. She is determined to throw herself 24/7 into her job in order to overcome the shock caused her by the recent shooting, which took place at the Quillsville police department and took Tom's life but sparing her life and Deanna's. Special security measures have been taken at both Craven Gifts and the Quillsville Police Department to avoid any sort of replica of the disaster but the still-broken windows keep reminding everybody of the latest facts.
(Part 2): Ava seems to be a step ahead of the others in the "GiftStravaganza" but Tina Craven minimizes Ava's efforts by reassigning Ava to telecommuting and ordering Ava to go to counseling. When it comes to entering Downtown Quillsville, Ava keeps having flashbacks of the shootings and therefore must step back. She goes to the restroom at AldiMart to cool down.
(Part 3):Craven Gifts experiences discontinuation from business after the wholesale of economical flowers and gifts from AldiMart, rendering Ava unemployed and forcing her to collude in a plot to disrupt a publicity stunt.
(Part 4): The aftermath of the gas explosion leaves Ava suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder around flowers, a now bald Baxter repressing her grief for Jasper (who was the only casualty in the explosion) by becoming an LGBT activist while angry, and Deanna worried about death.

Distraught at the prospect of losing Kevin, Rags and Shushu tracks him down, but when they find the neighbor's house, it is empty. As they leave, they see a moving truck pulling away, and hitch a ride with Mayor Kelso, asking him to follow the truck. Kelso agrees, but stops outside the border to Illinois, refusing to enter, due to his personal beliefs. As they leave the car, a box falls from the moving truck with the new address on it. After discovering the buyer, Markus, is moving to Dallas, Texas, Rags, Shushu and Heather rent a helicopter to travel across the mountains. Upon arriving, the three discover Markus' reluctance to give Rags the bear, and so they both challenge him to a jet ski race down the beach, agreeing that if Rags wins, he can get Kevin back. After losing the race, Rags then grabs the stuffed animal from Markus' child; then he, Shushu and Heather carjack a passing motorist to return to Quillsville.
