"Hypermarket Sweep" is an upcoming episode of the first season of the animated comedy series The Souzas. Written and directed by series creator Ava Zinn, the episode will air in syndication in the United States in the spring of 2021.

In the episode, Brandi's mother Tammie appear on Supermarket Sweep against Lois Griffin and Linda Belcher.

Plot

Crossover cold opening

The crossover consisted of Queen of the Willis, The Souzas, American Dad!, Family Guy, and Bob's Burgers characters. It starts in Detropolis when the Souzas visit their new neighbors, the Smiths (from American Dad!), living in Peggy's house which Deanna sold. Brandi is then shot by Stan Smith for revealing Roger's identity to Averi Planucchio. Brandi then wakes up in her bed and discovered it was a dream. At that moment, Linda walks into the bedroom questioning, "Hey, Deanna, what's that thin woman doing in our bed?" Next, the scene cuts to Bob waking up in his bed saying, "Damn it, I cannot understand how two women can have a baby and the dog undergoing a sex change!" The episode opens with a Bob's Burgers-styled opening involving Deanna, Brandi, Tessanne, Lina, Alexandra, Chereice, and Telissa replacing Bob, Linda, Tina, Gene, and Louise at their respective spots in the restaurant.

Main plot (Queen of the Willis)

The episode opens with the Willis family watching television. A commercial for local auditions of the syndicated game show Supermarket Sweep is shown, prompting them to try out the next day. The Souzas (Brandi and Tammie), Belchers (Tina and Linda), and Smiths (Hayley and Francine) are chosen for the show as part of a Mother-Daughter show, yet The Griffins (Lois and Meg) and The Willis (Angie and Brynn) were not. Lois Griffin tries to explain why she and Meg were not chosen, but a show producer says he personally hates Peter and Angie. Angie reacts and tells Lois that America doens't like the New England Patriots fan and the two fight (à la fighting between Peter and The Giant Chicken) through Quillsville, Port Melissa, and Detropolis via Interstate 70. The pair gain superpowers when they hit the Pittsburgh, then end up in Langley Falls, Virginia, where they lose their powers before landing in Quohag Pier. Angie and Lois stop fighting and admit their respect and admiration for each other (as well as the long standing rivalry between Indiana and New England) while agreeing to stay away in the future.
