Curly Sue Wins The Voice (colloquially known as the $10 Million Victory) is the twenty-first episode of the seventh season of Vote for the Girls, and the sixteenth episode of the series overall. It aired in the United States on AvaZinn.com on May 24, 2016.

Ava Zinn and Kymberly Alvaraz staged the "$10 Million Vote for the Girls Victory" against Lanise White.

The post-competition press conference was notable for Lanise White's profanity-laced rant, highlighted by the quote "Ava & Kymberly are who I thought they were". The episode was Ava Zinn's favorite for Top Ten Vote for the Girls Episodes of All Time under the title "White Blows It"/"DWTS 22 Meltdown", as well as Top Ten Meltdowns at #7.

Background[edit]

Prelude[edit]

Ava Zinn and Kymberly Alvaraz[edit]

Ava Zinn and Kymberly Alvaraz were having a great season, having two double victories with Joradn Smith and Emily Ann Roberts on the ninth season of The Voice, Bindi Irwin on the twenty second season of Dancing with the Stars, with Zinn's best start to the spring cycle since Tessanne Chin and Jacquie Lee on the fifth season on The Voice in 2013 and Alvaraz's best start in moderator history. Alisan Porter was chosen by Zinn and Alvaraz after Alvaraz recognized her from the 1991 movie Curly Sue (it is interesting to note that two years prior, Indianapolis resident and fellow Star Search contestant Josh Kaufman, had won the sixth season of The Voice resulting in Zinn auctioning off her male virginity to Alvaraz.)

Lanise White[edit]

Lanise White, contrary to Alvaraz, wasn't having her best of seasons, having moved from the pink to the purple team, with her Dancing with the Stars pick Kim Zolciak withdrawing from the twenty-first season and her home pick of Andi & Alex being eliminated on the ninth season on The Voice. White was hoping for her first moderator victory with Nyle Dimarco and Ginger Zee on the twenty second season of Dancing with the Stars.

Summary[edit]

Lanise White post-competition tirade[edit]

Although White became the winning moderator of DWTS 22 after Nyle DiMarco was declared the winner over Zinn and Alvaraz's supported contestant Paige Van Zant, in the post-competition interview, White started angrily yelling in a profane meltdown about the fact she was confident that DiMarco would win, and that White smacked the microphone before storming out of the room.

They [Ava & Kymberly] are what I thought they were. They're what I thought they were. I competed against them in fall cycle—who the hell takes a competition out of the fall cycle like it's bullshit? Bullshit! Ava & Kymberly are who I thought they were! That's why I took the damn field. Now if you want to crown them, then crown their ass! But they are who we thought they were! And we let 'em off the motherfuckin' hook!
—Lanise White
