The Vote for the Girls regular competition starts in mid to early September or as late as late October and ends in mid to late May with a season split in two cycles–Fall and Spring– with the Fall cycle starting the first half of the regular competition with the Fall cycle ending in December and the Spring cycle starting the second half of the regular competition in early January and ending in May.

Supported Contestants[edit]

Since the sixth season, the moderators has used a "flexible pick" system for the main moderator panel of the regular competitions when there is a male Vote for the Girls pick.[1] Flex pick ensures quality supported contestants and it allows for male contestants otherwise supported by a male moderator or Vote for the Girls villian as a Vote for the Girls supported contestant.
