Sonia Ann Donbar (née Young) is a television news presenter based in Louisville, Kentucky. She was formerly an anchor for WKJM-FTV/WSDF-FTV, the CBS affiliate/independent station duopolu based in Louisville, Kentucky, where she appeared on weeknight broadcasts at 4 and 10 p.m. on WSDF (channel 16) and at 5 and 11 p.m. on WKJM (channel 2)[1]

Life and education[edit]
Sonia Donbar grew up in New Albany, Indiana, a suburb of Louisville, Kentucky. She earned her bachelor's degree and a master of science degree in journalism from the Indiana Univerity at Bloomington.[1]
Career[edit]
Sonia started her journalism career in 2007 at the then-ABC affiliate in Louisville.[1]
Donbar's contract with WKJM expired on June 30, 2016, and was not renewed.[2]
Sonia then began work at ABC owned WMRI-FTV in Fort Wayne and became the midday and afternoon anchor.
