Marla McClinton is an American broadcast Journalist. She is currently the weeday morning anchor at CBS 11 Indianapolis since 2018 and before that, she previously served as anchor for KTEX (CBS 10) in Houston, TX where she anchored the 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10 p.m. broadcasts with Kristina Chow. She is a Houston native, who graduated from Cypress Falls High School.
McClinton has worked at two other stations in Houston: NBC affiliate KHTX (channel 2)[1], followed by ABC affiliate KGUL (channel 8).[2]
McClinton has received numerous awards for her work in journalism. Those awards include a Breaking News Award for her day-long coverage of a deadly church bus crash from the Texas Associated Press.
She is also the recipient of an Investigative Reporting Award from the Texas Associated Press for her work at KTEX.
