A new opening and theme package for the show debuted with this episode to steer away from the old image from the original series and the first season of the revived series. The opening is a parody to the soap opera One Life to Live and performed by Kassie DePaiva and Karly Jameson, of which was the "Theme from Vote for the Girls" (a program hosted by series creator Ava Zinn). This opening sequence is accompanied by glamor shots of the main and secondary characters over Quillsville buildings.

Vote for the Girls with Ava Zinn and Alexandra Moffitt used the theme from the seventh season premiere until tenth season finale, the theme song officially replaced What You've Done to Me by Samantha Jade; Kassie DePaiva and Karly Jameson perfromed the song on Jameson's talk show.

Beginning with the 2019 spring cycle of the tenth season of Vote for the Girls, Jameson's theme were replaced by the Aeverine Zinn Holdings news theme music (Image News from Gari Media Group), which began to be used for all Aeverine Zinn Holdings programs (including Vote for the Girls USA, Retail Nightmares, and INNewsCenter). However, rather than retire the song from Vote for the Girls, creator Ava Zinn and Karly Jameson agreed to use "Theme from Vote for the Girls" as Queen of the Willis' theme song.

At the end of the sequence, the show's title would zoom inward with the Flag of Quillsville, Indiana. The "Created by Ava Zinn" began to appear in the opening credits and Holly Everman's name is dropped.

Despite being pregnant by rape in "The Rape of Heather Willis", this is the last of eight episodes where Heather shows any physical signs of pregnancy.
