America's Got Talent (season 11)[edit]

For the first time in the site's history, the male villains will choose as many female contestants from the female moderators as possible in addition to one of their own male flex picks and Vote for the Worst picks on America's Got Talent. Any female contestant the female moderator would have supported had she been allowed to participate on Got Talent would be used as her own flex picks on The Voice or Dancing with the Stars.

For the first time since 2014, two female moderators, Kathi & Karly and Holly & Perri participate even though the female moderators are not allowed to participate on America's Got Talent unless a Moderator's Challenge is successful.

Fifty Vote for the Girls picks and flex picks were supported by the villains. Thia Tola scored ten flex picks against Holly & Perri's six, giving the purple team a 26-24 win.

During the August 23, 2016 episode of America's Got Talent, Kathi Jameson made the puzzling discovery that Laura Betran had won the sixth season of Romanii au Talent, supporting her Moderator's Challenge claim, as is Holly & Perri's, whose Moderator's Challenge of Blake Vogt previously appeared on Penn & Teller: Fool Us, and Swaringen's final picks of Sal Valentinetti and Linkin' Bridge, respectively been a candidate for elimination. But when Delagatto, who had a record of 4-1 on AGT11, was called on to present his Villains Picks, a producer reveals to Zinn that he'd made an egregious mistake: he'd actually chosen Laura Bretan as his Villains pick rather than rather than his own. Although the producer and Zinn believe Delagatto's mistake was an honest one, Zinn emphasizes the need to maintain the site's integrity, and Bill is immediately disqualified as Bretan won the Romanian version of Got Talent (Romanii au Talent) five days after Bretan's America's Got Talent audition aired, a rule in the site that's heavily stressed. As a result of Delagatto's disqualification, all of Bill Delagatto's remaining picks were flexed out and ending his season.

With the elimination of Moya Angela on August 3 and subsequent picks of Sal Valentinetti and Linkin' Bridge, Glenn Swaringen no longer have any remaining supported contestants on his team.

With the elimination of Julia Scotti on August 24 and subsequent picks of Lori Mae Hernandez and Calysta Bevier, Archibald Coolranch no longer have any remaining supported contestants on his team, thus ending his two season AGT win streak.

    • Lori Mae Hernandez was "cross-flexed" from Archibald Coolranch to Kye Sanchez.
    • The following picks were changed due to the disqualification of Bill Delagatto for violating the rules:
      • Laura Bretan was flexed to Kathi & Karly, who was then declared to be the winning moderator by default due to Bretan's Romanii au Talent victory. Additionally Kathi & Karly became the first moderator to a successful challenge a pick on America's Got Talent. In addition, Kathi & Karly became the second moderator to have a victory imported from another country after Thia Tola's supported contestant, Maneepat Molloy won the first season of Thailand's Got Talent and appeared on Rising Star
      • Musicality was flexed to Kathi & Karly.
      • Kadie Lynn Roberson was "cross-flexed" to Clark Jones.
      • Tape Face was "cross-flexed" to Luka Runecraft.
    • Sal Valentinetti was "cross-flexed" from Glenn Swaringen to Phil Allen.
    • Linkin' Bridge was flexed from Glenn Swaringen to Holly & Perri.
    • Steven Brundage was "cross-flexed" from Luka Runecraft to Tavon Savage.
    • Jayna Brown was "cross-flexed" from Clark Jones to Tavon Savage.
    • Malevo was flexed from Luka Runecraft to Holly & Perri.

So You Think You Can Dance (season 13)[edit]

The thirteenth season was slated to be the first competition to the Vote for the Girls: Junior Edition spinoff, but due to the Assassination of Christina Grimmie, Zinn decided postpone the children's version and allow the female moderators on the pink and purple team to participate in the competition. Zinn, Kymberly Alvaraz, and Lanise White were not required to participate due to being the winning moderator in the previous season. But Lanise White decided to participate, despite being the winning moderator of Dancing with the Stars.
