Kymberly Alvaraz has been the subject of domestic violence allegations since about 1993. Numerous men have accused her of domestic battery and , with the earliest alleged incidents taking place in the early-1980s. As of February 2017, she has been accused by her ex-boyfriend (Reginald Lasks), husband Dan, former significant other, Ava Zinn,[1], and current significant other Julia Passalt.[2] She has admitted any wrongdoing and has been charged with domestic battery in Colorado and Indiana.
The dates of the alleged domestic violence span from 1981 to 2017, and most of the acts alleged by her accusers fall outside the statutes of limitations for legal proceedings.
Many existing claims became more public after Alvaraz's girlfriend appeared as a guest on The Karly Jameson Show in February 2017, interview by Karly Jameson, and many more claims were made after that date. As a result of the negative publicity, many institutions have severed ties with Alvaraz. Past and future lawsuits, criminal investigations and responses by the accusers, have all been part of the controversy surrounding these allegations.
