The eighth season of Vote for the Girls premiered on September 12, 2016 and is set to end in the spring of 2017. Ava Zinn officially announced Vote for the Girls's renewal on March 28, 2016.[1]

Ava Zinn and Holly Everman returned for their eighth consecutive season with Lanise White, Kendra Ray, Kymberly Alvaraz, Tracia Ward, Danni McClannahan, Kathi Jameson, and Karly Jameson returning for their third season. Former moderator Hillary Matthewson, who returned after a two season absence, Rachael Passalt, Ann Dwyar, Kylie Dwyar, Marti McDaniel, Breeanna Sorensen, Tim Doogan, Donna Doogan, joined the moderator panel following the departures of Kellie Rock, Kathy Roberts, and Julia Passalt[2][3][4]. Eight additional moderators Nadia Lorenzo, Peta-Alyce Kaizer, Maribel Mort, Maci Blanca, Sophia Williams, Natasha Gower, Jenny Riva, and Tulissa Kümmert all signed on.

Archibald Coolranch returned for his eighth season with Clark Jones returning for his fourth season as well as Luka Runecraft and Glenn Swaringen returning for their second season as villains with new villains Phil Allen, Ted Shields, Steve Baker, Bill Delagatto, Jacqui Fountaine, Kye Sanchez and Tavon Savage.
