When Deanna is diagnosed with high cholesterol, Brandi puts Deanna on a new high-fiber diet, which causes an intestinal backlash. When it begins to affect her work, she goes to see Dr. Bowie who gives her a written note card explaining that she has a medical condition which she soon takes advantage of. Deanna quickly realizes her gas might score him a few brownie points in the Bengal Brown Buckeye's smelly dad contest. Brandi is appalled that Deanna should resort to such disgusting behavior but they are interrupted by a call that brings news of Monique Cruz's death. Deanna's father's old friend Karly Jameson from Quillsville arrives with the body and explains that he was accidentally killed by the bathtub falling out of the damaged house gag – which Brandi had survived numerous times on Queen of the Willis – when Angie tried to decorate her and Ava's bedroom with a colt skeleton Tabby dug up, but unintentionally dropped her hardhat on a lever, causing the crane to lose control and slam the skeleton onto Monique's house. Worried for Lina, they try to break the news gently and find she has already put her (biological) mother's death behind her. Deanna's survivor's guilt over having many times survived the same accident that killed Monique causes Deanna to break down for a while, until she realizes exactly why she was so upset. Deanna then wins the smelly dad competition. | ||||||||||||
