Vote for the Girls title screen as of 2015

The opening sequence of the American internet television series Vote for the Girls is among the most well-known opening sequences on YouTube and goes along with one of YouTube's most recognizable parody theme songs.

The sequence

2010-2012

The original version of the Vote for the Girls intro was created by Jack Pinnacle similar to the opening sequence to the United Kingdom game show Countdown and the American version of The Price is Right.

2013-2014

In 2013, a new version of the VFTG intro was created and introduced by _______ in Indianapolis on the Vote for the Girls 4th season. The intro starts with the VFTG logo zooming out then features previous clips of Vote for the Girls victories and losses.

Finally, the ending title of this intro is similar to Hell's Kitchen'.

The American, British, French and German versions are customized by featuring their past VFTG Victories and last for 30 seconds. Other versions are also customized and last for 30 seconds without featuring their past victories. Some of VFTG versions didn't use the Fire theme in intro, such as VFTG Thai and Vota Feminnili (Italy).

2015–present

In 2015, a new version of the VFTG intro was created in-house which first appeared on the Season 7 premiere of the American version of Vote for the Girls. The opening sequence begins with a shot of a city (ie: Indianapolis for the American version, London for the British version, etc.) that is meant to represent the site's home base and ends with a book with flipping pages (used since 2015) featuring picture collages of past and present Vote for the Girls picks, a tribute to the American soap operas One Life to Live and All My Children. Then, transparent “glamour shots” of each Vote for the Girls pick and moderator panelists is superimposed over shots of buildings, landmarks and sights of the city, as well as notable VFTG picks from past seasons are shown on the screen.

The opening sequence is tightly edited with the same upbeat, synthesized theme by Dave Grusin used on One Life to Live from 1984 to 1992. R&B artist Peabo Bryson performed the vocal version of the theme. Just as before when the uncensored American version is shown in the United Kingdom, the instrumental version is used.

The opening sequence change is an attempt to reinvigorate the show and in response to the addition of "flex picks". The first of many significant steps to overhaul the American VFTG’s look and feel began with the introduction of a new opening sequence that debuted on the American version on Monday, October 25, 2015 and the United Kingdom version on November 1, 2015. Although the American and British adaptations of Vote for the Girls adopted the One Life to Live 1985 theme music, the previous theme by Australian pop singer Samantha Jade "What You've Done to Me" is still incorporated into the show's introductions and closings.

From this point on, this vocal version by Bryson is used over the end credits, of which the master list of VFTG picks are shown.

On the Brazilan and Turkish versions, the final shot features the site's moderator photos being arranged against a skyscraper backdrop, as the show’s title appears, one word at a time.
