The fourth season of Vote for the Girls, also known as Vote for the Girls 2013 premiered on November 1, 2012, and concluded on June 18, 2013. The site underwent a number of changes from the third season, including the move from a Wordpress site to its own domain name at {{#invoke:URL|url|1=www.voteforthegirls.us|2=}}, and the addition of The Voice. Ava Zinn and Holly Everman returned as moderators for their fourth season while Hillary Matthewson and Michelle Steele joined the judging panel following the death of Robyn Hurd. It is the first (and thus far only) season to have three transwomen (Zinn, Steele, and Matthewson) and one female (Everman) on the panel. Zinn only participated on the third season of The Voice from the Top 12 onwards and American Idol from the Top 6 to the finale as she said she was done with Idol as well as was busy launching Vote for the Girls UK and developing Vote for the Girls Australia.

This season has marked three firsts in the site's history: this season is the first to have a victory (guaranteeing a female winner) after the last male contestant was eliminated (American Idol for the site's first victory); on season four of The Voice, Holly Tucker was originally selected for Top 6 week, but after the performances, the website switched to eventual winner Danielle Bradbery[1], marking the first time the website had changed its mind on which contestant to vote for based on performance alone; and lastly, multiple female winners, or VFTG Victories (Cassadee Pope and Danielle Bradbery of The Voice and Candice Glover of American Idol).

  1. ↑ Zinn initially announced in May 2012 that she was done watching American Idol, but became alerted on April 7 about the then-potential Vote for the Girls Victory.
  2. ↑ Zinn was only present from April 10 to May 9 as she was busy in the United Kingdom launching the British adaptation and developing the Australian adaptation.
  3. ↑ Aubrey Cleland received the most votes against Vote for the Worst pick Charlie Askew in the sing-off and was permitted to participate in the summer tour along with the Top 10 finalists.
  4. ↑ During the week of March 28, first five contestants safe were Angie Miller, Kree Harrison, Candice Glover, Amber Holcomb, and Janelle Arthur resulting in Vote for the Girls' first Clean Sweep Win, and sending Devin Velez, Burnell Taylor, and Lazaro Arbos in the bottom three.
  5. ↑ During the week of April 11, it was announced that the last male contestant and Vote for the Worst pick Lazaro Arbos had the least number of votes and secured the web site its very first Idol Vote for the Girls victory.
  6. ↑ During the week of April 25, there was no eliminated contestant and it was not announced if Candice Glover or Amber Holcomb had the least amount of votes. This was due to the fact that the save was not used during the Top 5 so the Top 4 remained intact for another week. That week's votes were added to the votes for the week of May 2.
The X Factor USA 2
  1. ↑ There was no public vote in the first week. Each mentor selected two finalists from their own category as the bottom two. The bottom two acts performed another song of their choice in the sing-off and their mentor was required to eliminate one of them based on the performance.
  2. ↑ White returned to the competition in week two because the judges felt that she should not have been eliminated in the previous week.
