- 4^ Following the eliminations of Grey on Team Adam, Shelbie Z on Team Blake, Tamara Chauniece and Amber Nicole on Team CeeLo, and Olivia Henken and Stephanie Ann Johnson on Team Christina, neither Holly, Michelle, nor Ariel had any remaining supported contestants after they were eliminated in the Live Playoffs during the fifth season of The Voice.
- 5^ With the elimination of Adanna Duru and Maddie Walker (respectively supported by Ava and Kendra), this particular elimination resulted in a six-way victory with the Pink Team moderators (with the exception of Kym, of whom transfered from the Pink Team to the Purple Team to join Ava under Team Ava & Kymberly) winning by default, and the Moderatrors' Save will be used on the remaining supported contestants during the fourteenth season of American Idol.

- Footnotes
- ↑ Initially VFTG Loss. Following the victory of Alfonso Ribeiro & Witney Carson on the 19th season of Dancing with the Stars, Asciutto became the first non-winning supported American Idol contestant to be inducted into the web site's Hall of Fame. In addition, Asciutto broke the record as the longest Vote for the Girls Idol pick lasting 14 weeks (from Top 30 to the finale), surpassing the previous record of 12 weeks set by Lauren Alaina and Jessica Meuse. [1]
- ↑ Initially VFTG Loss that was proved controversial as fans of the site and Grimmie believed she would win due to her large fan base on social media. However, after the victory of Alfonso Ribeiro & Witney Carson on the 19th season of Dancing with the Stars, the loss was reversed to a Moderator's Veto since Grimmie's loss occurred within the two year statues of limitations and became the second non-winning supported Voice contestant after DaNica Shirey to be inducted into the web site's Hall of Fame. In addition, Grimmie. [1]
- ↑ Prior to the conclusion of the fall cycle of the sixth season, a twist was added and the "100th Vote for the Girls pick" was chosen by the voting public. The options were Macy Kate or Karen Hornsby as Ava Zinn posted on Twitter: "The 100th Vote for the Girls pick.... lives in Florida and competed on Rising Star. The result of the vote and the name of the public's choice to become the 100th VFTG Pick was announced on the Vote for the Girls 100 Women Picked special that aired January 4, 2015. And it was Macy Kate who had earned the site's 100th Pick with Hornsby (coincidentally Hornsby was the 100th supported contestant eliminated) named the site's 99th pick.
- ↑ Meuse tied the record as the longest Vote for the Girls Idol pick lasting 12 weeks (from Top 30 to the Top 12), set by Lauren Alaina during the tenth season of American Idol. Jena Irene broke this record set two weeks later.
- ↑ Initially Painful Bankrupt, but following the victory of Alex & Sierra on the third season of The X Factor, Miller became the first non-winning and non-finale supported contestant to be in the web site's Hall of Fame
- ↑ Vote for the Girls Thailand (the Thai adaptation of Vote for the Girls) scored its only victory during the site's four year run when Molloy won the first season of Thailand's Got Talent. After the Thai adaptation's cancellation in the spring of 2014, either due to low ratings or the site's consistent losses since Molloy's victory, former VFTGTHAI moderator Thia Tola contacted VFTG creator Ava Zinn about the Thai adaptation's ongoing failures and Zinn launched an Australian adaptation of Vote for the Girls, but imported Molloy's TGT victory into this original United States adaptation of Vote for the Girls and Tola became a moderator on both the American and Australian versions as a condition of VFTGTHAI's cancellation.
- ↑ The site's pick of MK Nobilette was only available to Zinn, Steele, and Jameson. The pick of Nobilette drew controversy. This brought some angry responses on the site's Twitter page. Some even criticized Zinn for her decision for declaring Nobilette as a "transman" pick and earlier drew criticism on the United Kingdom version when that site declared James Byron as a "transgirl" pick on the third series of The Voice UK. Zinn's decision to declare the transman pick did not sit well with the transgender community despite the fact Zinn, a transgender woman herself (as well as Steele and Jameson) and the fact that much of the moderator panel are considered lesbians (Zinn, Steele, and Jameson are such transwomen as a result of their gender transitions their sexual orientation is considered to be lesbian (prior to their transitions, Zinn, Steele, and Jameson were all heterosexual males until 2004, 2012, and 2011, respectively) while Swaringen, Rock, and Everman--biological women--have came out as bisexuals in 2010, 1994, and 2000, respectively. In Zinn's defense, she mentioned that if fans want to vote for a male contestant -- MK Nobilette is the closest pick. Though there was speculation this spawned the brawl four weeks after Nobilette's elimination.[3]
- ↑ Stage name was "Drew" from the live shows onwards.
- ↑ Ava Zinn initially excluded Sanchez, but after the first week of the American Idol 11 Top 7 result, decided she had made a "huge voting mistake" in not including Sachez as Holly and Robyn chose Sanchez as a supported contestant
- ↑ The American Idol 13 and The Voice 6 competitions marked the first time in the site's history that conflict with the contestants from American Idol and The Voice prevented Zinn from completing the season. The male contestants on both competitions were mostly "white guys with guitars," which are never VFTG picks. The competitions became increasingly heated and the American public reacted defensively, refusing to accept the truth about WGWG's, and blaming others for no reason. During one episode, Zinn concludes, "I think the competition's too far gone". After the eliminations of MK Nobilette, Majesty Rose, Malaya Watson, and Jessica Meuse landed in the bottom two the week following Watson's elimination, and Zinn tells in a YouTube video on April 18, 2014, the competition that's basically lopsided with dreaded WGWG's are not normal for this kind of competition and announces that she would be auctioning off her virginity, and it is implied that she called off the competition for that reason. Zinn made her threat to auction off her virginity following Santiago's elimination. Though Zinn's Idol and Voice picks in the spring cycle remained valid.
- ↑ During the site's presentation on December 2, 2014 Zinn says to the seven other moderators right before it was announced Shirey's elimination, "Let me tell you would've been if the Moderators' Veto had not not used," and the announcement of Jamison's save is interrupted by a long buzzer. After 3 seconds, Zinn announces, "DaNica Shirey is eliminated, and that means we have zero female contestants left in this competition. What this means is that there is a Vote for the Girls loss and it's the first time on "The Voice" it has ever happened. According to the rules, though, the competition is over. Since the Moderators' Veto was used to reject DaNica's defeat, we will NOT declare a loss and none of the moderators face a punishment for failure to get DaNica to a victory"). For her to be considered for the Moderators' Save, all eight moderators (Ava Zinn, Nermal Everman (filling in for her aunt Holly as she was serving a suspension from the moderator panel after her second DUI arrest), Kellie Rock, Julia Passalt, Lanise White, Karly Ryder, Jr., Kendra Ray (who recently joined the moderator panel and replaced terminated moderator Kathi Jameson), Kym Christian) rung in during Shirey's audition on September 23, 2014 and since Shirey and Rock are from the state of Pennsylvania, Shirey was Rock's primary pick and became the winning moderator after the eight moderators declared after the eliminations of Reagan James and Anita Antoinette on stage that they were unanimous in using their "Moderators' Save"[4], a veto that was introduced earlier in the web site's sixth season. This made Shirey the first declared "Vote for the Girls" Voice pick (Shirey would later be joined by Christina Grimmie and Jena Asciutto following a review in January 2015) and the second supported contestant after Valerie Rockey in the web site's history spared from the site declaring a 'Vote for the Girls Loss upon her elimination. Shirey was the last female contestant to be eliminated, leaving an all-male Top 5 for the first time in The Voice's history.

- ↑ Holly Tucker was originally selected for Top 6 week, but after the performances, the website switched to eventual winner Danielle Bradbery[5], marking the first time the website had changed its mind on which contestant to vote for based on performance alone
- ↑ Upon learning that Watson was announced as the act with lowest number of votes for Top 7 reveal night on April 10, 2014, and taking offense of guest moderator, former Vote for the Girls UK moderator Khayla Chow (by calling Chow a "bi-black bimbo") during the viewing of the Malaya's final performance Chow shoved Holly Everman to the ground sparking the Vote for the Girls brawl. Hours later on the early morning hours of April 11, 2014, Everman was arrested under suspicion of DUI in Indianapolis, Indiana. Everman was suspended from April 14 to April 28. Though Everman's picks for The Voice remained valid.
