The moderators (Holly Everman, Ariel Swaringen, and Michelle Steele) were rewarded with tickets for the 2013 Indiana State Fair for the victories of Cassadee Pope, Candice Glover and Danielle Bradbery. Holly and Ariel spent the duration of the fair as VIP guests, where they met Danielle Bradbery and Lauren Alaina with Holly even attending both concerts. Ava Zinn practically sat out most of the Indiana State Fair (and only attended for two of those days), due to her commitment with the Popcorn Festival in Zinn's hometown of Van Buren, Indiana, much to the chagrin of Holly and Michelle. The moderators also go to K Bistro in Marion, Indiana for dinner before the Voice's fifth season premiere. Note: This is the first time a Reward for a Vote for the Girls Victory aired.

The fifth Vote for the Girls Victory happens as Tessanne Chin is crowned the winner of The Voice (season 5). Jacquie Lee is the runner-up and Will Chaplin finishes in third place. Reward for VFTG Victory: As the winning moderator (largely by default), Ava Zinn eventually rewarded the entire moderator panel with an invitation to Zinn's 31st Birthday weekend party on January 4, 2015.

The fifth Vote for the Girls Victory happens as Alex & Sierra is crowned the winner of The X Factor (season 3). Jeff Guut is the runner-up and Carlito Olivero finishes in third place. In addition to Alex & Sierra's victory, their picture was mounted on the wall as part of the site's new feature, the "Vote for the Girls Wall of Fame", which included pictures of past Vote for the Girls victories. Reward for VFTG Victory: As the winning moderator, Holly Everman rewarded the entire moderator panel with an invitation to her niece's 20th Birthday in July 2014 as Zinn was rewarded to lunch at Concannon's Bakery and Cafe in Everman's hometown of Muncie, Indiana while Everman was rewarded to the annual popcorn festival in Zinn's hometown of Van Buren, Indiana . Note: Alex Kinsey of Alex & Sierra becomes the first (and thus far) only male Vote for the Girls pick that won. Due to Alex & Sierra's win, the Vote for the Girls loss declared on December 5 is reversed with Sierra Deaton getting the victory on X Factor and Angie Miller of American Idol (season 12) becomes the very first non-finale participant inducted into the "Vote for the Girls Hall of Fame." This is prominently featured on the site's Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as the site's app.

The first Vote for the Girls loss on The Voice happens as Christina Grimmie finished in third place and the loss is doubled as Joshua Kaufman, unfortunately, is crowned the winner of The Voice (season 6). Jake Worthington is the runner-up. Punishment for VFTG Loss: If Christina Grimmie had won, the entire moderator panel would have went on a "Girls Weekend" by spending the weekend at Splash House in Marion, Indiana, enjoying lunch and dinner with their families. But instead, as Zinn and Everman chose Kaufman as their Vote for the Worst pick and the winner of The Voice's origin was located in the Indianapolis media market, both Zinn and Everman decided to respectively bike from Marion to Muncie for Ava and from Indianapolis to Van Buren for Holly, in addition the entire moderator panel must participate in the So You Think You Can Dance 11 make-up competition, as well as participate in the Leg Beards for Breast Cancer punishment. Note: The loss was eventually reversed on November 17, 2014 due to Grimmie's large followers on social media.

The second consecutive Vote for the Girls loss on the site as well as the fifth on Idol happens Caleb Johnson, unfortunately, is crowned the winner of American Idol (season 13). Jena Irene (Asciutto) is the runner-up. Punishment for VFTG Loss: If Jena had won American Idol and the above Christina Grimmie in the previous episode had won The Voice, both of their victories would made it the first undefeated season and would have been the first time the web site's history a perfect season had occurred. The entire moderator panel would have had the split the $325 million jackpot (with earning $5,416,700 with Holly Everman, Kellie Rock, Kathi Jameson, Patrice Rafferty (the mother of Ariel Swaringen), Nermal Everman (the daughter of Michelle Steele) each earning $5,416,700, and Ava earning $297,916,500 alone). But instead, Ava and Kathi wore strapless top and (strapless bra/thong panty underneath) while Holly and Kellie binded their breasts with Rock appearing as a Breast Cancer survivor as if she had undergone a double mastectomy and Everman (after shaving her traditionally long hair) appearing as a female-to-male transgender individual. Additioanlly, for the first time in the web site's history the entire moderator panel must prepare and participate in the ninth season of newly added America's Got Talent make-up competition, as well as participate in the No Shave November punishment. While holding up her deal of the punishment in the following season's fall cycle, several fans criticized and complained over Ava's announcement of following through on her threat to auction off her virginity because Jessica Meuse landed in the bottom two during the American Idol 13 competition and Ellona Santiago finished in 6th place on X Factor, wearing strapless tops and thong panties (in Ava's defense, Ava said she had not completed her own gender transition compared to Kathi's completed transition as Zinn cited sperm banking was too expensive was the one reason she wanted to have biological children and the reason why she decided to auction off her virginity, of which the highest female bidder turned out to be eventual VFTG moderator Kym Christian and later became Zinn's significant other). Holly also was criticized for her April DUI arrest and significant change in appearance when she was arrested for her second DUI the following August. The moderator express their frustrations, mostly on Holly with Kellie, and Kellie arguing with her. Note: Jena later broke the record as Vote for the Girls' longest running pick of 14 weeks, surpassing fellow supported contestant Jessica Meuse as she lasted 12 weeks (tying the record of Lauren Alaina from American Idol 10) The loss was eventually reversed on November 25, 2014 after Dancing with the Stars 19 finale. Both of the Vote for the Girls losses on American Idol and The Voice during the web site's spring cycle of the fifth season as well as Vote for the Girls losses on Rising Star and the website's make-up competition America's Got Talent in the fall cycle of the following season had repercussions on other shows the web site follows and on the way that the web site's moderator panel makes their pick of front-runners; ever since then, starting with the So You Think You Can Dance 11 competition, the moderators were given the option by each taking an anonymous vote to either go by Valerie Rockey winning SYTYCD since there was one winner or if all votes were "yes" Ava would declare a Vote for the Girls victory based on the dual-winners format used on SYTYCD 9 and 10 and the moderators would not choose any wild card or steal picks for the upcoming seasons of The Voice and American Idol. The votes ended with all moderators voting yes. With Ava ignoring the single winner format reinstated for the 11th season of So You Think You Can Dance and going by the two winners (one male and one female) for the competition, Ava declared a the first Vote for the Girls victory of 2014 when it was revealed that Ricky Ubela (the actual winner of So You Think You Can Dance 11) was declared the male winner and Zach Everhart, Jr. (finished in 4th Place) the male runner-up while Valerie Rockey (the runner-up of So You Think You Can Dance 11) was declared the female winner (securing the web site's victory based on the Dual Winner format) and Jessica Richens (finished in 3rd Place and the Vote for the Girls victory) the female runner-up. Had the moderators not been unanimous, the site would have declared its fourth consecutive loss as well as the first SYTYCD loss. The experience also led to two news elements of the web site called the Moderators' Save that can be used no more than twice per cycle and both the Pink and Purple Team moderators must be unanimous to be given the power to exercise a veto on regular competitions (initially one in each cycle) and one make-up competition (with the exception of Dancing with the Stars) and spare the site from a Vote for the Girls Loss for that particular competition to ensure that the site would be able to produce more winning moderators under similar circumstances in the future.
