Since Zinn chose Frankie Bridge and Kevin Clifton as a Vote for the Girls pick, in week 9, Zinn decided to choose Mark Wright and Karen Hauer as a fourth pick pick due to strict family contractual restrictions to protect the Vote for the Girls' ratings and revenue. After reviewing the Vote for the Girls rules and regulations for the moderators, Zinn added a fouth Strictly Come Dancing pick, thus making the first time in the site's history Zinn had chosen a male (Mark Wright) and Karen Hauer (previously competed on the American version of So You Think You Can Dance sixth season). Zinn then announced the first Vote for the Girls UK make-up victory. 6th 5th 6th 4th 4th Place

Notes
  1. Because Zinn chose Frankie Bridge and Kevin Clifton, the moderators could not choose Scott Mills and Joanne Clifton nor Mark Wright and Karen Hauer as a moderator's pick due to strict family contractual restrictions imposed by Aeverine Zinn Holdings, owner of the Vote for the Girls franchise, disallowing immediate family members serving as moderators to protect the Vote for the Girls' ratings and revenue; in the case of the aforementioned pick, Joanne Clifton is the sister of Kevin Clifton and Karen Hauer is the soon-to-be wife of Kevin Clifton. However, in week 9, Zinn added a fourth Strictly Come Dancing pick -- Mark Wright and Karen Hauer, giving the site's a guaranteed victory since all the moderators have picks still in the competition. It has happened on the American version's fourth series in 2013.
  2. During week 6 of Strictly Come Dancing, there was no moderator eliminated and it was not announced if either of Tracia Ward's picks of Steve Backshall & Ola Jordan or Alison Hammond & Aljaž Skorjanec, the latter of which was saved last and no one chose Scott Mills & Joanne Clifton (the couple that got eliminated) on 2 November 2014.
  • Pixie Lott and Trent Whiddon were not initially chosen as a VFTG pick, but was declared a VFTG pick after Zinn decided she had made a mistake in not including Pixie Lott, bringing the total number of VFTG picks to nine. Initially, this meant Zinn had three VFTG picks while Chow, Everman, and Ward had two. However, with Chow's termination on 18 September, both of Chow's picks (Sunetra & Brendan and Alison & Aljaz) were voided Everman and Ward got an additional pick.
  • With the elimination of Sunetra Sarker and Brendan Cole in Week 10, Nermal Everman no longer have any remaining picks on her team.
  • With the elimination of Jake Wood and Janette Manrara in Week 12, Tracia Ward no longer have any remaining picks on her team. Additionally, the elimination resulted in an all-transgender female final, as Zinn describes "the year of the transwomen" as it marked the first time in web site's history of which two transgender females went head to head as moderators in the final.
