{{Background}} and {{details}} are used to make summary style explicit.

Usage

{{details|article}}
  • article is the name of a subarticle which contains more detail on subject matter.

Use in a section for which there is also a separate article on the subject.

  • The first form generates an intented, italicized, "For more details on this topic, see article"
  • The second form generates alternative wording, "For a reason to live, see article"
  • If there are 2 articles to be referenced in the section, use {{seesubarticle2}}.
  • If there are 3 articles to be referenced in the section, use {{seesubarticle3}}.

Related templates

  • In a subarticle, use {{subarticleof}} at the top of that article to refer back to this article.
  • In a subarticle, use {{main}} at top to refer to other main articles with non-subarticle references.
  • If the separate article is not a subarticle, use {{seemain}} at top or bottom of a section.
