Early Life

Career

Rösta för Flickorna

In 2013, Nadia announced on her show that she decided to become a judge on Rösta för Flickorna. A big fan of the web site in America, she enthusiastically accepted the offer as a moderator of the Swedish version of the site joining Ada Awakawa and Mara Berg. On December 5, 2014, Lorenzo's final pick, Lisa Ajax won the tenth season of Sweden Idol.

Despite strong ratings the following season the Swedish version of Vote for the Girls was canceled and the final episode aired on December 11, 2015 with Amanda Winberg becoming the final pick for Rösta för Flickorna.

In January 2016, it was reported that Lorenzo would relocate from Sweden to America and join the moderator panel of that country's Vote for the Girls.

Vote for the Girls USA

On July 29, 2016, it was announced after the cancellation of the Rösta för Flickorna, Lorenzo joined the American moderator panel. She was initially joined the pink team east with Holly Everman, Perri Johnson, Sophia Williams, Maci Blanca, and Breeanna Sorensen. On September 12, 2016, Nadia earned her very first victory as winning moderator as her Vote for the Girls USA flex pick, Leon "Kida" Burns, was declared the overall winner of the thirteenth season of So You Think You Can Dance, and in the process became the youngest winning moderator (at age 20) and the seventh winning moderator in the American site's history in her first season. Lorenzo joins Ava Zinn, Archibald Coolranch, Kymberly Alvaraz, Thia Tola, and Kendra Ray as the overall winning moderators on their first season on the moderator panel.

However, on October 31, 2016, Lorenzo moved from the pink to the purple team after she announced she was pregnant and in a relationship with Peta-Alyce Kaizer, with Kaizer adding Lorenzo's victory and in the process became the second duo moderator after Ava & Kymberly as the overall winning moderators. Lorenzo became the fifth woman to move from the pink to pruple team after Kymberly Alvaraz, Lanise White, Karly Jameson, and Thia Tola.

Deciding to pursue her presenting and acting career more seriously, Lorenzo decided to relocate to Miami, Florida in August 2016.

October 2017 incident

On 16 October 2017, Lorenzo and her girlfriend Peta-Alyce, were stabbed by colleague Sally Brock during a bench-clearing brawl on the set of Vote for the Girls USA. Brock was tackled by security officers on the set and was arrested. Kaizer died from her injuries the following morning after being taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center Kaizer had extensive blood loss through a severed brachial artery.

Brock and her brother Kent Morgan were arrested by security guards on the VFTG set. Police said both Brock and Morgan had confessed. Morgan and Brock were both charged with two counts of felony first-degree murder as Kaizer and fellow Purple Team colleague Benjamin Donbar died from injuries, and four counts of aggravated assault as Lorenzo, fellow moderators Marla McClinton, Andrea Coolranch and Ava Zinn also suffered stab wounds. If convicted, both Brock and Morgan, they could be sentenced to life imprisonment.

Personal life

Lorenzo has residences in Mexico City, Indianapolis, and Madrid, Spain. She currently resides in Indianapolis because of commitments to Vote for the Girls USA in the spring and in Mexico City because of her commitments to Vote for the Girls Mexico.

Soon after the cancellation of Rösta för Flickorna, Lorenzo announced that Peta-Alyce Kaizer (formerly Bruce Kaizer) would become Kaizer's significant other effective November 1, 2016. The deal, which was part of a long-term relationship agreement was driven by Kaizer's gender transition and Lorenzo joining the the American version of Vote for the Girls; Kaizer had made the decision to auction off her virginity (in a similar manner to Ava Zinn in the United States and Tash Gower in Australia) after male contestants performed better than the females on the fifth season of The Voice Australia and the seventh season of The X Factor Australia and upon seeing Tash Lockhart did not receive enough votes to make the Final Two on The Voice Australia and finished third on The Voice Australia in 2016, Kaizer, announced she was following through on her threat to auctioning off her virgnity to the highest female bidder. [1] This led to Lorenzo reaching a deal with Kaizer, which Lorenzo was eager to land since the she is a bisexual woman and Kaizer had begun her transition from male to female. Lorenzo and Kaizer were in a relationsip until Kaizer's death in October 2017.

Unlike the virginity auctions of Zinn in the United States and Gower in Australia that saw Ava Zinn taking away Dan Alvaraz's wife, Kymberly Alvaraz, and Tash Gower taking away Channarong Ling from Thia Tola; Lorenzo became the only highest bidder as Kaizer came out as a transwoman and eager to have a child naturally.
