Mayor Laura Emerson is a character voiced by former Toledo, Ohio television news anchor Laura Emerson on the American animated television series The Souzas. She was elceted mayor in 2017 after incumbent mayor Stan Wilson retired and chose not to run for re-election of the city of Detropolis, Ohio, where the show is set. She has appeared on a recurring basis from her first appearance in "The Souzas".
