Janet Webb
Janet Webb is an American television news anchor employed at NoSirGifts Fantasy Television Stations-owned NBC affiliate KZCO and Fox affiliate KDNC in Denver, Colorado. Webb co-anchors KZCO's 4:00 PM newscast with Julia Passalt and 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM newscasts with her sister-in-law Adelle Allen.

Career
News Anchor
After graduating from Missouri's School of Journalism, Janet Webb began her career at KEAA-FTV in Colorado Springs, Colorado.[1] While in Colorado Springs, she met and married her husband, Bryant Allen. In 1980, Webb left KEAA and signed-on with KSTX in San Antonio as a reporter. Her husband, Bryant, who was also in the broadcast industry, worked as a co-host of the popular entertainment show, PM Magazine. For years Janet and Bryant would move from state to state as each one grew in their career. When Bryant landed a job at WPTL in Pittsburgh, Janet left KSTX and joined him, working as a news reporter at WPTL. After two years at the CBS affiliate (now an NBC affiliate) in Pittsburgh, Janet and Bryant were offered positions back in San Antonio, once again with KSTX-FTV. Now the parents of a one-year-old daughter, Brittany, Bryant eventually left the business (he has since returned) and Janet landed a job as the main news anchor at WLOK-FTV in Louisville, Kentucky in 1982. Webb made her final career move to KDNC-FTV in Denver in 1987 - anchoring the popular 5, 6, and 10 p.m. (called Channel 2 Eyewitness News) and much celebrated 9PM newscast (originally called Fox 2 Eyewitness News Primetime after the station switched from CBS to Fox on March 4, 1996), teaming Webb with Eddie Bjork from 1987 until 1993, former KIAA morning anchor Kym Christian from her March 7, 1994 debut until her departure on June 20, 2014 (Webb and Christian surpassed KIAA's Elaine Carson and Edd Stardell as the longest tenured anchor team in Denver) and Lori Fonda since July 2014.
As KDNC expanded its newscasts, Webb developed a larger role in the newsroom and eventually landed a role as the station's Managing Editor. On June 1, 2015, Webb started co-anchoring the early and late evening newscasts on sister station KZCO, which had just switched its affiliation to NBC after being an independent station after 32 years. The newscasts broadcast at 4 pm, 5 pm, and 10 pm, and team Webb with former KIAA news anchor Adelle Allen. Webb continued to team with Lori Fonda on KDNC's top-rated 9 p.m. newscast before leaving KDNC in 2016 to focus on NBC 24. Fonda now co-anchors with 9 p.m. newscast with former KTRJ anchor Julia Passalt.
Webb is an Emmy Award winning journalist and is very active in the community.
Vote for the Girls UK
Janet Webb was named co-host of the British version of Vote for the Girls on May 31, 2016, it was announced that Passalt and Webb would begin hosting the fourth season of the United Kingdom version of Vote for the Girls, replacing Ava Zinn, who had left in January 2016 to focus on the American adaptation Vote for the Girls.
Personal
Webb is married to Bryant Allen, a former news anchor and entertainment co-host at KIAA and currently at CBS-owned KLZL. Janet and Bryant have two daughters: Brittany, is a graduate of University of Colorado-Boulder and a former television reporter, earned two Emmy Awards and three Telly Awards; and Kristen attends University of Northern Colorado.
