Ella Gets Microchipped is the thirteenth episode of the third season of Caprice & Ella, which aired from January 30, 2022. The episode guest starred Arielle Cadet, who was at WPTA-TV at the time and later at WFMY-TV in Greensboro, North Carolina and deals with Ella getting microchipped on December 27, 2021 for $5, a deal Ava found too much to resist.
Plot[edit]
Ava, Caprice, and Ella take the 2.5-hour long walk from their home on the southeast side of Fort Wayne to Humane Fort Wayne's Clinic on Maycrest Drive in Fort Wayne's northeast side and back after Ella gets microchipped, of which Ava found the $5 deal too much to resist.

- In the opening scene of the episode, instead of the usual theme song, a sequence similar to that of the 1981-89 CBS series Simon & Simon is played, with Caprice portraying A.J. Simon, Ella portraying Rick Simon, and Ava portraying Cecilia Simon. It was the second episode of 12 of which was the annual Caprice & Ella March Madness, which parodies opening sequences of other television series.
- One of the scenes in which Ava wheelchairs Caprice and Ella traveling from Humane Fort Wayne to Brendonwood Park Apartments is reused in "The Indiana Wheelchair Massacre".
