"Eleven and Pregnant" is the season premiere epiosde of the fourth season of the animated comedy-drama series The Souzas. It originally aired on first-run syndication in the United States on August 19, 2023. The episode's title is a parody of the 1998 Lifetime Televisision film "Fifteen and Pregnant".

The episode deals with Brandi's youngest daughter, Telissa being pregnant and brings back a memory for Deanna.

Plot

The film commences with 10-year-old Telissa having sex with her new boyfriend, Tony. Tony later ends his relationship with Telissa, telling her that he must focus upon his athletic goals. When Telissa discovers that she has started her period, she is extremely relieved. On Telissa's 11th birthday, she is despondent because another birthday has passed.

Tensions arise between Telissa and Brandi when they are in the car together and listen to a radio program where the commentator makes remarks about the high number of teenagers getting pregnant. Brandi asks Telissa if she knows anyone who is sexually active, or if she has ever been sexually active. Telissa is evasive and gives a non-committal response. She and her friend Katrina Emerson (revealed to be Kaylee Emerson's older sister and Mayor Emerson's only biological daughter), a very young mother who became pregnant at 13, attend a sexual health clinic where it is confirmed that Telissa is carrying a child.

It all comes to a head when Katrina tells Telissa to tell her mother about the pregnancy. Brandi is shocked and surprised by the news and decides to help her daughter. Telissa's step-father, Deanna, is less upset and not surprised and she comforts her stepdaughter, she does tells Telissa and the family that she saw it first-hand back in Quillsville when her brother became Quillsville's first pregnant boy. When Telissa tells Tony, he feigns happiness. Telissa begins pregnancy classes with Brandi. After hearing a story from a girl about how hard teenage motherhood is and how her boyfriend cheated on her, Telissa calls Tony and yells at him because she thinks he won't be a good father and for a while she tries to make him stay with her, but when Tony isn't as present as she would like him to be, Telissa goes investigating and while at the Detropolis mall she finds Tony kissing another girl, cheating on her. She is upset and tells him she is over him and ends their relationship.

Epilogue in other episodes

Throughout the stressful pregnancy and shown in You're a Grandmother, Brandi Souza, Telissa's sisters Chereice reacts with both disgust and jealousy by the attention Telissa receives from Deanna and Brandi while Alexandra, Lina, Maggie and Tessanne embrace the news. Even when Chereice breaks her ankle Telissa receives more attention, for example Chereice is made to get off a couch because Telissa was lying there, and is made to go upstairs on her crutches to be able to lie down. Eventually Chereice calls Brandi's mother to ask permission to live with her while Alexandra gets a job as a mechanic to pay for Telissa's medical bills.

In "Detropolis Cold Case: The Story of Uncle Kevin", Telissa's pregnancy becomes more and more overwhelming, Telissa is rushed to the hospital and is about to give birth when Brandi has a panic attack on how Telissa is going to have a baby. When Telissa is in labor, Tony shows up at the hospital with his new girlfriend only to be turned away (Deanna assumes Tony is a rapist and not wanting a repeat of what she and Tom went through in Quillsville) and making him go to the waiting room, where Deanna's parents Ava and Angie from Quillsville. After a grueling labor in that episode, Telissa gives birth to a baby boy whom she names Aiden, and meets outside the hospital where they all have a small family reunion. Deanna ends that episode with Ava and Angie with their new step great-grandson, though it is a bittersweet moment, setting up the scene for Queen of the Willis telfth season finale episode.
