A Path *lay before me still...

A Path...A Journey begins...at first step of my free will.

Pathway...knows no desert or stream...

It is continual...it goes beyond all...and goes even further on...in a dream.

Venture along your Pathway...be careful of each step...

Travel to far away places...Sail over every mighty depth.

The Path you choose...may be the hardest yet...

The Path you take...may cost you everything...you can bet !

A Path is what lies ahead...

But you can not be on your Path...if you will not get out of bed.

Look to where you want to be...

Set out...and find yourself...Along your Journ-ey !

This is a Path...that you are on...

Taste the local's cooking...Listen to every song.

This is the Path that you are on...

Enjoy it...Because...Before long...It will be gone !

You are the fortunate one...You were given a Path to plot a course...

It is yours to make...Take it before your Path is one filled of remorse.

A Path by a hill or along an ocean seashore...

Does not matter at all...if you never step outside your own front door !

And as you proceed along your Pathway...be sure to smell the roses...

Stop and listen to the Sea waves...take lots of pics with friends in various fun poses.

This Path you are on...it will not last forever...in this place

Make the most of what you got while here...enjoy this point in time and space.

Many Paths lie ahead...Some so distant...We will never see...

But for right now thanks for walking a few steps of my Path with me !

*lay-As in "lay a plan of how you want travel."

This Poem: "Paths That You Follow" was inspired by the description of "Path's" in t.cobbler's poem:

"lukes poetry/in sleep I dream."

A Hubber who has been on here two months (at this time).
Check it out. (See the Link Below to view this Hub:)

lukes poetry sample:

evening sets. so tired from the day's events. I pause at a crickets song. My eyes close, and awaken to a time long ago. The scent of honeysuckle fills my senses. the cool night air blankets my soul...

"A "Path"...A Journey begins...at first step of my free will."
