Danielle Ann Dwyar (born November 2, 1965), known professionally as Ann Dwyar is an American news presenter, talent competition judge, actress, and television personality.
Since 1992, Dwyar has established herself as a successful television personality. She anchored Good Day Milwaukee with Rhonda Rhodes on ABC affiliate WXWI in her hometown in Milwaukee from 1994 until her departure in 2014. In 2016, Dwyar, along with her sister, Kylie, became a judge for the eighth season of Vote for the Girls,[1].

Childhood and beginning[edit]
Dwyar was brought up in Waukesha, Wisconsin and attended Waukesha South High School. Ann is the oldest daughter of accountant Charles Ronald Dwyar, who is of Irish descent,[2] and Carol Dunbar, a dancer from the Australia. She is the oldest of four children, born between 1965 and 1974; younger sibling Kylie Dwyar is also a television personality, while brother Bradley is a news cameraman at WMW and younger transgendered sister, Delta is a news anchorwoman at WCIL-FTV in Chicago.[3]
Television career[edit]
WXWI (1990-2014)[edit]
Dwyar joined WXWI in 1990. Ann replaced Lisa Swansonn, who left for a station in Tampa in 1990. Dwyar was the anchor of the morning and noon broadcasts until Good Day Milwaukee launched in September 1994 where she continued to anchor the morning newscast with Rhonda Rhodes from 1998 until Rhodes' departure in December 2014. She also filled in for Kathy Fountaine on WXWI's noon newscast.
Vote for the Girls (2016-present)[edit]
In 2016, Dwyar and her sister, Kylie, will join the moderator panel of the eighth season of Vote for the Girls as Kellie Rock's replacement. She will be joined returning moderators Ava Zinn, Kymberly Alvaraz, Kendra Ray, Kathi Jameson, Karly Jameson, Holly Everman, Perri Johnson, Thia Tola, Tracia Ward, Hillary Matthewson, fellow WXWI alums Kathy Roberts and Lanise White, and fellow new moderator Rachael Passalt, who replaced her father.
